We are very proud of our UNI Capstone team earned a 2nd place out of over 400 teams from different universities in the worldwide Capstone Challenge Competition. This is a truly outstanding performance!

For those who were graduated from the University of Northern Iowa should have the experience of the Capstone simulation project. It is a consulting project which requires students in the program to integrate and apply the principles and skills from the entire MBA program. Students work in small group with a faculty advisor to frame and analyze issues with strategic business perspective, and to develop practical responses to real business situations. It normally involves financial, marketing and operational analysis with the creation of a strategic plan to address questions posted by business companies.
Each year UNI MBA program identifies potential company clients for its Capstone Experience, and after finishing the project selects some teams to enter into the international Capstone Competition.
