Hopkins - UNI Capstone Finalist

Congratulations to University of Northern Iowa business students Annly Liu and Emily Hu have prevailed over more than a thousand business students from around the globe to place in the finals of the Capstone 2021 Fall Challenge.

Competitors from 15 countries conquered burnout from pandemic-disrupted learning for a chance to prove their business acumen in the international competition. Each student repeated their in-class Capsim Business Simulation, running virtual, multi-million-dollar companies head-to-head against their peers for a chance to be one of the world’s top six finalists in their game.

Annly said she and Emily hoped to become successful business managers, “capable of dealing with tons of business complexity. The Capsim Challenge provided us with an opportunity to make tough business decisions, face an industry downturn and decide how to maximize the whole company's interests.”
