Professional Accomplishments
For 14 years, until August 1, 2015, Moussavi served as the dean of UNIBusiness. During his leadership period, the College made significant progress in: securing alternative sources of funding, enhancing its international presence, raising its research profile while maintaining its teaching edge, and contributing to economic vitality in Iowa.

Dr. Moussavi’s areas of specialization within the field of management are organizational analysis and managerial cognition. He has published widely in selective academic journals and presented to academic and professional audiences worldwide. He serves as advisor to academic institutions that aspire to the highest standards of global business education and regularly conducts training seminars for both business professionals and academic administrators.
