Professional Accomplishments
Shashi Kaparthi is tenured in the Department of Management. He specializes in decision support systems, internet technologies, bibliometric analyses, neural network models and applications in management research. In addition to his book “Macromedia ColdFusion”, he has 16 refereed publications in journals such as Decision Sciences, Journal of Decision Systems, International Journal of Production Research, European Journal of Operational Research, and Journal of Intelligent Manufacturing, to name a few.

In addition, Dr. Kaparthi seeks opportunities to apply his research and knowledge. Most recently he was tapped by the President's Office to be the Chief Information Officer where his background in data management, decision making, and information technology benefited the entire University. He served in that capacity until 2014.
