London Examinations Board (LEB) is a UK entity registered with the UK Register of Learning Providers (number 10043715) and the Education and Skills Funding Agency UK. LEB’s headquarters is in England and it has an Asia regional office. LEB has collaborations with UK and other universities to deliver master’s and bachelor’s programmes. LEB is also an UK government approved training provider and delivers master’s level apprenticeship training in England.
LEB is dedicated to promoting internationally recognized courses of superior quality. As a primarily distance learning provider, LEB has approved select colleges and institutions in specific jurisdictions to offer student support and face-to-face classroom learning alongside LEB's online delivery platform. These approved colleges and institutions are recognized as LEB Approved Learning Centres.
Before granting formal approval to a learning centre, LEB conduct quality assurance visits and provide training on the London Examinations Board learning platform. Additionally, annual reviews are conducted to ensure that processes, procedures, and quality assurance measures are consistently maintained. LEB Approved Learning Centres typically offer additional administrative, and support functions to learners.
Hopkins is an approved LEB Centre in Hong Kong and represents LEB. LEB has the MBA progression pathway agreement with a number of universities that they have recognised the Professional Diploma in Business Administration (PDBA) delivered by LEB and given it 120 credits toward their MBA programmes.
So, to achieve an MBA degree, PDBA graduates only need to undertake a research methods module and a 60-credit dissertation.
